We fell in love with the tiny town of Joseph in the Wallowa mountains of Oregon. It is named for Chief Joseph who had been told by the US gov't that he could return there with his people, but sadly he did not ever make it back. On this trip we stayed in a cabin near Wallowa lake but drove the two miles back to Joseph to shop and eat.
